FAIR TRADE Nearly all of our products - we estimate about 95%, are ethically traded by suppliers who have assured us that they adhere to systems in which the manufacturers of their products follow ethical procedures; ensuring that the work forces involved in production do not suffer abuse, have decent working environments, fair wages, defined working hours and no child labour. Many of our suppliers have enpowered whole villages by creating industry in otherwise floundering communities. One of our main suppliers is a Buddhists run company, who donate some of their profits back into these communities each year, and even built a school for one village! The remaining 5% of our goods are from companies who have ethical policies in place but will not guarantee that their systems are foolproof. ANIMAL FRIENDLY We do not stock products which contain animals in any shape or form. You will not find leather, suede, fur, feathers, or shells in our shop. None of the products we sell are tested on animals.
PRODUCTS We endeavour to describe and illustrate our products accurately. However, please be aware of the following:
Product photos ~ Colours may appear slightly different on computer screens.
Product size ~ All sizes given are approximate.
Product individuality ~ Many of our products are handmade and sometimes there will be slight variations in colour, size and embellishments.
Unique products ~ Photos of crystals and gemstones are only representative of type. Size, shape, and colour, will undoubtedly be different to those sent, as each stone is unique. DELIVERY We aim to despatch orders within 3 working days, so most will be received within one week. However, please allow 2 weeks, as sometimes we are crazy busy! *International orders will take longer ~ we will advise on expected delivery dates by e-mail. OUT OF STOCK & DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS If an item is out of stock you will be advised of estimated delivery time and given the option of whether to continue or cancel your order. Occasionally an item may become unavailable. If so, we will contact you to let you know and refund your payment. We will inform you if we feel there is a suitable alternative product available that may be of interest to you. RETURNS 1 - If upon receipt you change your mind and no longer want the item you can return it to us at your cost. We will refund the item upon receipt but we will not refund the postage costs. 2 - Unworn clothing may be returned for a full refund and we will refund the return postage costs. 3 - If an item is damaged in transit please advise us of the problem within 7 working days and quote the invoice number. All damaged goods must be returned to us. Upon receipt of the goods we shall refund the return postage costs and will send a replacement. 4 - If we are suspicious that an item has been mistreated following despatch we will not refund or replace.
